Housing Policy

Rules, Regulations, and Information

  1. No more than one to two students/tenants per unit (depending on location) for purposes of temporary residency is allowed.

  2. No animals of any kind shall be kept or harbored on the demise premises.

  3. No overnight guests shall be permitted on the demised premises without prior approval and notification to Management; partners of opposite sex are not allowed, even for the night unless permanent arrangements are made prior to entering this agreement.

  4. Smoking is permitted in designated outside areas only.  It is your responsibility to keep these areas clean of all tobacco residues. No Vaping in apartments. No drugs or drug paraphernalia. 

  5. Alcohol use is restricted to individuals who are 21 and older and can only be consumed in your apartment. Gatherings are limited to 2-3 people per unit. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum in consideration of other residents who may be sleeping. 

  6. No indoor or outdoor barbecue grills shall be permitted or used on the demised premises other than as supplied by Management.

  7. No vehicles shall be permitted on the premises without a parking permit. Parking permits will be issued along with assigned parking spaces. Vehicles illegally parked in “No Parking Zones” or left on the property without permits will be towed at the owner’s expense.

  8. Units are to be kept clean and neat at all times. Floors should be swept and mopped on a weekly basis.

  9. Trash is to be taken out on a regular basis and placed in the dumpster.

  10. The screens on the windows are not to be removed unless in emergency circumstances.

  11. Please be responsible not to abuse or be wasteful with utilities.

  12. Clean, quiet, and respectful housing is our ultimate goal.

  13. Please remember that students sleep at all hours of the day due to rotating class shifts. You will be held accountable for any noise violations or complaints, not only for yourself, but for visitors and students from other facilities as well.

  14. Wall hangings are not permitted.

  15. Outdoor furniture and games are not allowed unless they are in use. If left outside they will be removed by Management.

  16. Rinse tub thoroughly after each use, the metal dust will cause rusting and tub unit damage.

  17. Do not pour grease down the drain. Store grease until it can be properly disposed of in the dumpster.

  18. No Firearms or Weapons are allowed. Bows and crossbows are also prohibited.

  19. Each Tenant is responsible for visitors at your apartment. You are also responsible for any alcohol, drugs, or tobacco in your unit brought in by roommates. Thus, if you are home and aware that a friend or a roommate has illegal or non- permitted drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or paraphernalia, you could be evicted as well. It is imperative that you call if you see anything you could be directly connected to.

  20. These Policies are ZERO Tolerance and will have you evicted from the property!  If you are evicted from any property leased by MWI, you are no longer allowed to rent or trespass on any of the Buildet Enterprise properties that MWI leases for the purpose of housing. If you are caught at any property, the person allowing you to stay will also be evicted from the premises.

  21. Error on the side of caution when making all decisions. Bad decisions will have irreversible effects on your future.
